About the treatment

Please note that the Internet-based treatment/study described on this website is conducted in Swedish and only available to people registered and living in Sweden.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment for insomnia. Earlier studies have shown that self-help programs from books or via the Internet, especially when being supervised by a CBT-trained therapist, have a good effect.

Treatment study for insomnia

In this study, we compare how two different variants of the most effective method included in CBT work. Both treatments are 10 weeks long, where the first five weeks are most intense.

Assessment and treatment take place at a distance and during the study we have extra attention on measuring and monitoring how the participants feel, how they use the methods and what they think about the treatment.

The study is free of charge and is carried out in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute (KI).
